Jason A. Brazelton


Jason A. Brazelton is a native Floridian, born and raised in Palm Beach County. In 1995, Jason enlisted in the Air Force with a guaranteed job as a Contract Administrator. While stationed at Eielson AFB in Alaska, Jason managed multi-million construction contracts including the base paving and architect/engineer contracts. At his second assignment in South Dakota, Jason worked with service contracts in excess of $100,000 and served as a manager of the base's government credit card program.

While in the Air Force, Jason's duties encompassed the bid and selection process, coordination with base engineers, negotiation procedures, project oversight, and payment processing, among others. Jason received outstanding performance reviews, numerous medals, awards, and even an early promotion while serving his country.

After completing undergraduate studies, Jason attended Stetson University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2006. In July 2006, Jason scored in the top 3% of the country on the multi-state portion of the bar exam. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in the State of Florida, and the federal U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern districts of Florida.

Jason is active in the Clearwater and St. Petersburg bar associations. He is involved with the Clearwater Bar Young Lawyers Division and served as a board member in 2007. Jason is also a volunteer hearing officer for the St. Petersburg Housing Authority.

Jason has been a guest speaker on a number of issues facing today's businesses and maintains a blog about construction, commercial and collection related issues.
